Grandmother Project’s mission is to promote the health, well-being and rights of women and children in developing countries through grandmother-inclusive and intergenerational programs that build on communities’ cultural values and resources. The event will take place at the Torretta de’ Massimi nature park, a 150-acre privately-owned family estate. Safety and social distancing will be ensured. Enjoy a relaxing outdoor sunset picnic, accompanied by a live Jazz set performed by myself and pianist, Ariel Hassan. Plus, an entertaining comedy act by renowned American comedian, Alexia Murray. The event, will benefit Grandmother Project (GMP), and is a proud collaboration of American Exchange Rome/”Free Exchange”, American International Club of Rome (AICR) & Vitala Festival. The evening will include an outdoor presentation by GMP Communication Advisor, Francesca D’Asaro Biondo and special guest Judi Aubel (Grandmother Project Founder), to illuminate the mission, goals and amazing successes of this inspiring USA non-profit initiative – founded in 2005.
